Moonbase LLC
Privacy Policy
3xo is built to run entirely on your machine. We don’t collect product telemetry, we never sell data, and AI inferencing happens locally. Our servers never see your code or documents. If we ever ask for information, it’s to troubleshoot an issue you choose to share with us.
What we collect and why
Our approach is to avoid collecting data whenever possible.
Local-first by design
3xo runs locally and keeps your projects, prompts, model outputs, and credentials on your device. We do not collect analytics, session logs, or model inputs/outputs on our servers, and we do not run ads or trackers.
Optional, anonymized crash reports
If you hit a bug, we may ask you to share a crash report to help us reproduce and fix it. Sending a report is optional. Crash reports are anonymized and are intended to include only technical details like your operating system, 3xo version, and stack traces. They do not include your code or documents unless you explicitly add them.
Voluntary correspondence
When you email us, we keep the conversation history and any details you share so we can respond and support you.
When we access or disclose information
Because 3xo runs locally, we do not have routine access to your projects or AI runs. We only see what you choose to send us.
- When you ask for help. If you share crash logs, screenshots, or other files, we use them solely to diagnose and fix the issue. Access is limited to the Moonbase team members who need it.
- Legal requirements. If we ever receive a lawful request for information, we can only provide the limited data we have (for example, support emails or crash reports you submitted).
Your rights with respect to your information
- Access and correction. You can ask what information we hold about you (typically support conversations or crash reports you sent) and request corrections.
- Deletion. You can request that we delete crash reports or correspondence you’ve shared with us.
- Choice. You can decline to send crash reports or other information; 3xo will continue to run locally.
To exercise these rights, contact [email protected] and we’ll respond promptly.
How we secure your data
Your code and AI activity stay on your machine, governed by your device security. For any crash reports or support files you choose to share, we transmit them over encrypted channels, store them in access-controlled systems, and limit access to the small team members who need it to diagnose issues.
Data retention
Anonymized crash reports are kept only as long as needed to resolve the related issue and for no more than 180 days. Support correspondence is retained as needed to respond to you and maintain account history, and you can ask us to delete it.
Location of site and data
3xo runs locally on your device. If you share crash reports or support files, they are stored and processed on systems hosted in the United States.
Changes and questions
We may update this policy to reflect product changes or legal requirements. We’ll update the date at the top when we do. If you have questions, concerns, or requests, email us at [email protected].
